This plasmid constitutes the final sequence designed for genomic integration into the amyE locus of Bacillus subtilis. This sequence allows the B.Sub to express the heterologous protein (Sybody 68) on the surface of the spores after sporulation thanks to the link between the coat proteins (Cot C) and the desired protein. The vector also confers Chloramphenicol antibiotic resistance to the Bacillus subtilis.
